      In addition to its matchless high-density cytokine antibody arrays, Raybiotech Inc. is now proudly offering the Quantibody™ products for simultaneous quantitative measurement of multiple cytokines. The kit can be used for diverse sample types: serum, plasma, cell lysate, conditioned media and other body fluid.
      Our human cytokine Quantibody ™ Arrays use fluorescent detection method, which increase the signal reproducibility and accuracy than chemiluminescent and colorimetric platforms. After blocking arrays with blocking buffer, the arrays are incubated with samples. Unspecific bound proteins are then removed and the arrays are incubated with a cocktail of biotin-antibodies and then streptavidin-conjugated Alexa Fluor 555. The signal can be detected with most of the microarray laser scanners.
      Sixteen identical antibody arrays are spotted on a piece of standard glass slide using a non-contact arrayer. Each of the 10-cytokine specific capture antibody is arrayed in quadruplicate, together with positive and negative controls. Cytokine standards, whose concentration has been predetermined and calibrated with international reference standards, were provided to generate a five-point standard curve of the 10 cytokines. In a real experiment, standard cytokines and samples will be assayed in each array simultaneously through a sandwich ELISA procedure. By comparing signals from unknown samples to the standard curve, the unknown cytokine concentration in the samples will be determined.

      The product comes with a 16-well removable gasket to form a modular device. You can measure 10 different cytokines in quadruplicate from up to 16 samples per slide within 4 hours. Four modules can be nested into a tray, which matches a standard microplate and allows for automated robotic high throughput process of 64 arrays simultaneously. As little as 50-µl samples per well is required to generate 48 times more data than traditional ELISA, especially precious when sample supply is limited. Also, the cost per sample data point is only a fraction of the cost of traditional ELISA.
      High affinity antibodies were used in our product. Each antibody pair has been optimized for its highest sensitivity, as low as 5 pg/ml.
