Contents	The MLF1 solution (0.5 mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 40% glycerol, 5mM DTT and 200mM NaCl.
Description	MLF1 Human Recombinant fused with a 20 amino acid His tag at N-terminus produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 288 amino acids (1-268 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 32.8kDa (Molecular weight on SDS-PAGE will appear higher). The MLF1 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Protein function	Involved in lineage commitment of primary hemopoietic progenitors by restricting erythroid formation and enhancing myeloid formation. Interferes with erythropoietin-induced erythroid terminal differentiation by preventing cells from exiting the cell cycle through suppression of CDKN1B/p27Kip1 levels. Suppresses RFWD2/COP1 activity via CSN3 which activates p53 and induces cell cycle arrest. Binds DNA and affects the expression of a number of genes so may function as a transcription factor in the nucleus.
Purification	Greater than 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
