Application Notes	For Western Blot, use a working dilution of 0.5-4 ug/ml.Mouse lung tissue lysate can be used as a positive control.The optimal concentration should be determined by the user for each specific application.

Description	Rabbit Anti-Multispecies DFF45 Affinity Purified polyclonal antibody. DFF is composed of two subunts: DFF40 and DFF45. Cleavage of DFF45, which is mediated by caspase 3, leads to DFF40’s activation as a nuclease. Activation of DFF40 can lead to DNA fragmentation, a hallmark of apoptosis.
Formulation	Liquid in PBS + pH 7.2 + 30% glycerol + 0.5% BSA + 0.01% thimerosal. Precaution: Thimerosal is a poisonous and hazardous substance which should be handled by trained staff only.
Immunogen	Synthetic peptide mapping to the N-terminus of mouse DFF45
Purification	Biospecific affinity chromatography
Storage and Stability	Store at -20C or in working aliquots at -80C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity	Detects the 45 kDa and 28 kDa proteins, corresponding to the apparent molecular weight of DFF45/ICADL and ICADS in immunoblots.
