Western Blot: To detect rat SCF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant rat SCF is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of rat SCF(15 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.08-0.12 ug/ml of this antibody is required. ELISA: To detect rat SCF by direct ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of recombinant rat SCF. The optimal concentration should be determined by the user for each specific application.
Description
Produced from sera of goats pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant rat SCF. Anti-rat SCF specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized rat SCF matrix.

Reconstitution
Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Add sterile distilled water to the vial to fully solubilize the antibody to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml.
Storage and Stability
The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20C. When reconstituted in sterile water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4C.
