The immunogen is located within amino acids 150 - 200 of TMIGD1.
Tested Applications
TMIGD1 antibody can be used for detection of TMIGD1 by Western blot at 1 - 2 μ g/ml. Antibody can also be used for Immunohistochemistry starting at 5 μ g/mL. For immunofluorescence start at 20 μ g/mL.

Antibody validated: Western Blot in rat samples; Immunohistochemistry in mouse samples and Immunofluorescence in mouse samples. All other applications and species not yet tested.
TMIGD1 antibody is human, mouse and rat reactive. At least two isoforms of TMIGD1 are known to exist; this antibody will detect both isoforms.

TMIGD1 (transmembrane and immunoglobulin domain containing 1) is a 262 amino acid single-pass membrane protein that contains two Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains (1, 2). It is a nonsecreted, glycosylated protein located in the cytoplasm and cell membrane (1). TMIGD1 might be a possible cell-differentiation marker in the intestine, whose expression is lost during cellular transformation and promote progression of tumorigenesis in the intestinal epithelium (2-4). TMIGD1 has also been postulated to play a role in cell adhesion (2).
