Short Description	Purified recombinant Inhibin Beta B expressed in High-5 insect cells
Introduction	Inhibin Beta B, otherwise known as Activin B, is a member of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-B) family, which signals through the ActRII receptor (Activin Receptor type II), and acts as a regulator of hormone secretion from the pituitary, hypothalamic and gonadal glands. Inhibin Beta B is a homodimer of the inhibin/activin beta-B chain, and is involved in several aspects of embryonic development, as well as haematopoiesis and osteogenesis, and also acts as a modulator of FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) secretion and haemoglobin synthesis.

Biological activity	The ED₅₀ as determined by its ability to inhibit the proliferation of murine MPC-11 cells is ? 2ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of ≥ 5 x 105 units/mg.
Reconstitution	Reconstitute with 10ul 10mM sodium citrate pH 3, 0. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. RayBiotech recommends that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution.
Storage/stability	Prior to reconstitution store at +4° C. After reconstitution store at -20° C. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the protein. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. This protein may be stored for3 months from date of reconstitution
