Genway ID:
GWB-6F0CA4
Specificity:
CD16
Isotype:
IgG1
Preparation:
Purified IgG prepared by ion exchange chromatography
Buffer Solution:
Phosphate buffered saline pH7. 4
Preservative Stabilisers:
0. 09% Sodium AzideApprox. Protein Concentrations: IgG concentration 1. 0 mg/ml
Immunogen:
Normal human peripheral blood granulocytes
Specificity:
Recognises CD16 a 50-65kD cell surface molecule which exists in two forms - a transmembranous form expressed by NK cells and some T cells and a phosphatidylinositol linked form expressed by granulocytes. CD16 is a low affinity receptor for IgG (FcR III) and is an important receptor mediating ADCC by NK cells.
Specificity:
Has been reported to block the binding of IgG to the CD16 molecule(4). Recommended Negative Controls: MOUSE IgG1 NEGATIVE CONTROLRecommended Secondary Antibodies: Rabbit Anti Mouse IgGGoat Anti Mouse IgGGoat Anti Mouse IgG (H/L)Goat Anti Mouse IgG IgA IgMHuCAL Anti Mouse IgG1Goat Anti Mouse IgG (Fc)Sheep Anti Mouse IgG (H/L)
Function:
Receptor for the Fc region of IgG. Binds complexed or aggregated IgG and also monomeric IgG. Mediates antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and other antibody-dependent responses such as phagocytosis. Subunit structureExists as a heterooligomeric receptor complex with Fc epsilon receptor I gamma subunit and / or the CD3 zeta subunit. Interacts with INPP5D/SHIP1 By similarity. Subcellular locationCell membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein Potential. Secreted.
Note:
Exists also as a soluble receptor. Tissue specificityExpressed on natural killer cells macrophages subpopulation of T-cells immature thymocytes and placental trophoblasts. Post-translational modificationGlycosylated. Contains high mannose- and complex-type oligosaccharides. The soluble form is produced by a proteolytic cleavage.
Miscellaneous:
Encoded by one of two nearly indentical genes: FCGR3A (Shown here) and FCGR3B which are expressed in a tissue-specific manner. The Phe-203 in III-A determines the transmembrane domains whereas the \' Ser-203\' in III-B determines the GPI-anchoring. Sequence similaritiesContains 2 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains. Sequence cautionThe sequence BAD96988. 1 differs from that shown. Reason: Erroneous initiation. The sequence BAD97015. 1 differs from that shown. Reason: Erroneous initiation. 1. Bellingan. G. et al.
