Specificity:	Recognises the rat CD53 cell surface antigen a 43kD glycoprotein which is a member of the transmembrane 4 super family. It is expressed by all myeloid and peripheral lymphoid cells and by a small subset of thymocytes. Clone OX-44 recognises a conformational epitope that is dependent on disulphide bonding (3).
