Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized LGALS7 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution Galectin-7 should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C.Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: LGALS7 was lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) solution in 20mM PBS, pH 7.4. Greater than 95.0% as determined by:(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Application:
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Galectin-7 in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity: The ED50 of Galectin-7 as determined by hemagglutination test is 0.75ca.3 ug/ml.
