Description	Our Anti-Maltose binding protein (MBP) mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N128A/4. It detects Maltose binding protein (MBP), and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in ELISA, WB.
Target Description	Maltose/maltodextrin-binding periplasmic protein is encoded by the gene MALE. MALE is a member of the bacterial solute-binding protein 1 family. MALE is part of the transporter complex MalEFGK involved in maltose/maltodextrin import. MALE binds maltose and higher maltodextrins such as maltotriose. MALE is expressed in E. coli when induced by maltose and the transcriptional regulator MalT.
