Supplied as a lyophilized powder in 5mg BSA, 0.9mg sodium chloride, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg Thimerosal, 0.05mg sodium azide. Reconstitute with 100ul sterile ddH2O.

Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa317-332, EFEVIFPERIPQTSRT, from human Heat Shock Protein 40, coupled to carrier protein BSA.

Heat Shock Protein 40 (HSP40) is a chaperone protein. Heat stress triggers the rapid  translocation of HSP40 from the cytoplasm to the nucleus. HSP40 interacts with HSP70 and can stimulate its ATPase activity.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml
Immunohistochemistry (formalin fixed/paraffin embedded tissues): 0.5-1ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
