Recombinant monoclonal antibody to CD40 with variable regions (i.e., specificity) from the hybridoma G28.5. This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original mouse IgG1 format. Manufactured using a proprietary recombinant platform technology.

CD40 is a 48kD Type I glycoprotein, a member of the TNFR superfamily primarily expressed on normal or malignant B cells or B cell lines, macrophages, follicular dendritic cells, endothelial cells, fibroblasts, and at low levels on plasma cells.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
