Description	Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Fatty acid-binding protein, adipocyte(Fabp4) detection. Tested with WB, ELISA in Mouse; Rat.
Protein Function	Lipid transport protein in adipocytes. Binds both long chain fatty acids and retinoic acid. Delivers long-chain fatty acids and retinoic acid to their cognate receptors in the nucleus (By similarity). .
Subcellular Localization	Cytoplasm. Nucleus. Depending on the nature of the ligand, a conformation change exposes a nuclear localization motif and the protein is transported into the nucleus. Subject to constitutive nuclear export (By similarity). .
Contents	Each vial contains 5mg BSA, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg NaN3.
Immunogen	E. coli-derived rat FABP4 recombinant protein (Position: C2-A132). Rat FABP4 shares 88.5% and 93.9% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with human and mouse FABP4, respectively.
Purification	Immunogen affinity purified.
Cross Reactivity	No cross reactivity with other proteins.
Storage	At -20?C for one year. After r?Constitution, at 4?C for one month. It?Can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20?C for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
