Cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases (PDEs)regulate the cellular concentrations of cyclic nucleotides andthereby play a role in signal transduction. PDE4C is a class IVcAMP-specific PDE (summary by Milatovich et al., 1994 [PubMed89369]).
