Manufacturer - Specificity	This antibody recognises human KGF (keratinocyte growth factor), a member of the fibroblast growth factor family, which acts as a potent mitogen of epithelial cells, predominantly of keratinocyte origin.KGF is secreted by fibroblasts in response to stimulation from inflammatory mediators, including IL-1 beta and PDGF-BB (platelet-derived growth factor B), and binds specifically to a splice variant of the FGF receptor 2 (FGFR2-IIIb), known as the KGF receptor.
Reconstitution	Reconstitute with 0.1 ml of distilled water. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended. For functional studies do not add sodium azide.
