Specificity	TRAIL (TNF-related Apoptosis Inducing Ligand) also known as CD253, is a cytotoxic protein which activates apoptosis in tumour cells but not in normal cells. TRAIL binds to two so-called 'death receptors', designated DR4 and DR5.
