Reconstitution and storage	Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized KRT8 in sterile 18M Omega -cm H2O not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Storage: Lyophilized KRT8 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution KRT8 should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0. 1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Description of target	Keratin 8 and 18 (K8/18) are the major components of intermediate filament (IF) proteins of simple or single-layered epithelia.
Purification	The KRT8 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity	Greater than 95.0% as determined by (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
