Description	The B122 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with the precursor and mature secreted forms of mouse IL-1β and is cross-reactive with rat IL-1β. IL-1α and IL-1β are recognized by the same cell surface receptor but are generated from distinct genes. The B122 antibody is reported to neutralize the bioactivity of natural or recombinant IL-1β.
