Protein Function	Orphan nuclear receptor. May act concomitantly with NURR1 in regulating the expression of delayed-early genes during liver regeneration. Binds the NGFI-B response element (NBRE) 5'- AAAAGGTCA-3' (By similarity). May inhibit NF-kappa-B transactivation of IL2. Participates in energy homeostasis by sequestrating the kinase STK11 in the nucleus, thereby attenuating cytoplasmic AMPK activation. Plays a role in the vascular response to injury (By similarity).
Subcellular Localization	Nucleus. Cytoplasm. Nuclear export to the cytoplasm is XPO1-mediated and positively regulated by IFI27.
Description	The Nuclear Receptor NR4A1 Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor Nuclear Receptor NR4A1 protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of Nuclear Receptor NR4A1 in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on Nuclear Receptor NR4A1.
