Protein Function	Carries out a dual function: signal transduction and activation of transcription. Mediates cellular responses to the cytokine KITLG/SCF and other growth factors. Mediates cellular responses to ERBB4. May mediate cellular responses to activated FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 and FGFR4. Binds to the GAS element and activates PRL-induced transcription. Regulates the expression of milk proteins during lactation.

Description	The STAT5A/B Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor STAT5A/B protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of STAT5A/B in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on STAT5A/B.
