Protein Function	Activates the JUN N-terminal pathway through activation of the MAP kinase kinase MAP2K7. Acts synergistically with PRDX3 to regulate the activation of NF-kappa-B in the cytosol. This activation is kinase-dependent and involves activating the IKK complex, the IKBKB-containing complex that phosphorylates inhibitors of NF-kappa-B.

Description	The M3K13 Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor M3K13 protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of M3K13 in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on M3K13.
Tissue Specificity	Expressed in the adult brain, liver, placenta and pancreas, with expression strongest in the pancreas.
