Protein Function	Pre-mRNA binding protein in vivo, binds avidly to poly (G) and poly (U) RNA homopolymers in vitro. Involved in splicing. Acts as a receptor for carcinoembryonic antigen in Kupffer cells, may initiate a series of signaling events leading to tyrosine phosphorylation of proteins and induction of IL-1 alpha, IL-6, IL-10 and tumor necrosis factor alpha cytokines.

Description	The hnRNP M Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor hnRNP M protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of hnRNP M in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on hnRNP M.
