Protein Function	Mediates the production of the second messenger molecules diacylglycerol (DAG) and inositol 1, 4, 5-trisphosphate (IP3). Plays an important role in the regulation of intracellular signaling cascades. Becomes activated in response to ligand- mediated activation of receptor-type tyrosine kinases, such as PDGFRA, PDGFRB, FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 and FGFR4. Plays a role in actin reorganization and cell migration.

Description	The PLCG1 (Phospho-Tyr783) Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor PLCG1 (Phospho-Tyr783) protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of PLCG1 (Phospho-Tyr783) in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on PLCG1 (Phospho-Tyr783).
