Description	UBE2E1 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 216 amino acids (1-193) and having a molecular mass of 23.8 kDa. UBE2E1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Protein function	Accepts ubiquitin from the E1 complex and catalyzes its covalent attachment to other proteins. Catalyzes the covalent attachment of ISG15 to other proteins. Mediates the selective degradation of short-lived and abnormal proteins. In vitro also catalyzes 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitination.
Purification	Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
