Multiple Tag Cell Lysate is whole E. coli cell lysate containing about 30% of a specially designed fusion protein as a positive control for Western blot or Dot blot. The fusion protein is a 40kD protein containing 16 commonly used tags in the order as shown in the table:

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Dot Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 0.02-0.5ul of the lysate is recommended per lane of minigel. For accurate loading, dilute with 1x SDS loading buffer.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Store lyophilized powder at -20°C or lower. Reconstitute by adding sterile dH2O. Aliquot reconstituted product to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, and freeze at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial.
