Description	Human complement C5a is a 74-amino acid glycopeptide generated during complement activation from the a-chain of complement C5. C5a is a potent chemotactic factor for human peripheral blood neutrophils and monocytes, and is believed to play an important role in a number of inflammatory conditions.
Formulation	Liquid in PBS containing 30% glycerol + 0.5% BSA + 0.01% thimerosal. Precaution: Thiomersal is a poisonous and hazardous substance which should be handled by trained staff only.

Storage and Stability	Store at -20C. For long term storage, store in working aliquots at -80C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles .
