Description	Tumor necrosis factor-beta (TNF-a), also known as lymphotoxin-a (LT-a) is a potent lymphoid factor that exerts cytotoxic effects on a wide range of tumor cells and certain other target cells. TNF-a possesses a signal peptide sequence and is a secreted protein, however, TNF-a is also present on the surface of activated T, B and LAK cells as a complex with LT-a. Bioactive TNF-a exists as a homotrimer. The 359-81-11 antibody reacts with human tumor necrosis factor-beta (TNF-a). The 359-81-11 antibody can neutralize the bioactivity of natural or recombinant TNF-a.
Formulation	Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. Precaution: Sodium azide is a poisonous and hazardous substance which should be handled by trained staff only.
Immunogen	E. coli, expressed, recombinant human TNF-a
Purification	The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with biotin under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated biotin.
Concentration	0.5 mg/ml
