Storage Conditions	Store undiluted antibody at 4C until expiraton date. For prolonged storage, aliquot antibody and store at -20C. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Formulation	1 ml (100 ug/ml) purified antibody solution in PBS, containing 0.02% sodium azide and 0.1% BSA. Precaution: Sodium azide is a poisonous and hazardous substance which should be handled by trained staff only.
Reconstitution	For immunohistochemistry and Western blot dilutions to be used depend on detection system applied. It is recommended that users test the reagent and determine their own optimal dilutions. The typical starting working dilution is 1:10.
Specificity	This monoclonal antibody (subclass IgG1) binds to human heart Fatty Acid Bindingsprotein. It shows no binding to human intestinal or liver FABP. The antibody stains heart muscle cells and striated skeletal muscle cells in immunohistochemistry. The antibody can be used to detect ischemia areas of human heart. The antibody is crossreactive with rat and mouse H-FABP.
