Storage Conditions	Lyophilized antibody is stable for 6 months at -20C. Reconstituted antibody is stable for 1 month at 2-4C or for 6 months in working aliquots at -20C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Application Notes	ELISA: By direct ELISA, (using 100 il/well antibody solution) this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.15 - 0.30 ig/ml. This antibody in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents allows the detection of at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinant human TGF-alpha. Western Blot: By Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 ig/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant human TGF-alpha is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.The optimal concentration should be determined by the user for each specific application.
Description	Biotinylated Rabbit Anti-Human TGF-alpha Affinity Purified Polyclonal Antibody. TGF-alpha is a growth factor that is a ligand for the epidermal growth factor receptor, which activates a signaling pathway for cell proliferation, differentiation and development. It may act as either a transmembrane-bound ligand or a soluble ligand.
Formulation	Lyophilized from sterile-filtered PBS solution.
Immunogen	Highly Pure (>98%) Recombinant Human TGF-alpha
Purification	Affinity chromatography using immobilized Human TGF-alpha matrix and then biotinylated.
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Add sterile PBS solution containing 0.1% BSA to the vial to fully solubilize the antibody to a concentration of 50 ug/ml.
