Storage Conditions	In lyophilized form, the antibody is stable for at least 2 years at 2-4C. After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20C or -80C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Cross-Reactivity	In EIA, the antibody does not cross-react with human IGFBPs 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6.
Description	This IGFBP-1 antibody was prepared by immunising rabbits with a 12 amino acid peptide derived from the central domain of human IGFBP-1 linked to diphtheria toxoid. The peptide sequence is located immediately upstream of the thyroglobulin type-1 domain and is unique to IGFBP-1. The antibody was affinity purified. Although the sequence is specific to human IGFBP-1, the antiserum does recognise rat and mouse IGFBP-1 and may also work in a number of other species, although this should be experimentally determined.

Purification	The IgG fraction was affinity purified from rabbit antiserum.
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Dissolve in 400 ul sterile water (a 1:20 dilution). Dilute further in a buffer solution appropriate for the desired application.
Specificity	Recognizes Human, rat and mouse IGFBP-1 (phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated forms)
