Application Notes	For immunohistology and Western blotting dilutions to be used depend on detection system applied. It is recommended that users test the reagent and determine their own optimal dilutions. The typical starting working dilution is 1:10.
Description	The antibody reacts with human intestinal fatty acid binding protein (I-FABP) of both natural and recombinant origin. I-FABP is specific localized in the small bowel epithelium. I-FABP is detectable in serum and urine after ischemic injury to the small bowel. The antigen specificity was further assessed by ELISA and Western blot. No cross reactivities with other FABP types have been detected. The antibody is cross reactive with rat, sheep and pig I-FABP.
Formulation	1 ml (100 ug/ml) 0.2 um filtered antibody solution in PBS, containing 0.02% sodium azide and 0.1% bovine serum albumin. Precaution: Sodium azide is a poisonous and hazardous substance which should be handled by trained staff only.
