Rabbit Anti-Human Collagen-4 pAb

The antiserum was subjected to immune-absorption with immobilized human serum proteins to remove non-specific reacting antibodies. The specificity of the antibody was ascertained by competition ELISA. Complete inhibition was found if the antibody was preincubated with collagen type IV. The specificity of the product was furthermore tested by immunohistochemistry on frozen sections of large series of human tissues. Characteristic immunostaining pictures of frozen sections of human kidney, liver, skin and heart are produced to verify the batch quality.
