Storage Conditions	Lyophilized product is stable for at least one year at 4C (expiration date is indicated on the vial). After reconstitution, the contents can be safely stored at 4C for one month or for one year at -20C. Add 0.02% sodium azide to prevent bacterial growth. Precaution: Sodium azide is a poisonous and hazardous substance which should be handled by trained staff only.
Purification	Membrane filtered (0.2 um).
Reconstitution	Dissolve the contents of the vial by injection of 0.5 ml sterile distilled water.
Specificity	Neutralizes both natural and recombinant rat IFN-a and mouse IFN-a, in vitro, and, in vivo . The antibody does not bind to rodent IFN-a and -a or to human IFNs.
