Storage Conditions	Store lyophilized protein at -20C to -80C. Reconstituted protein is stable for 1 week at 2-4C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C with a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer. Please note that the addition of any carrier protein into this product may produce unwanted endotoxin. This depends upon the particular application employed. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles .

Description	Recombinant Bovine Betacellulin is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 80 amino acids.
Formulation	Lyophilized after extensive dialysis against 50 mM acetic acid
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening . First add sterile distilled water to the vial to fully solubilize the protein to a concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. After complete solubilization of the protein, it can be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity	Determined by the dose-dependant proliferation of mouse BALB\C 3T3 cells (measured by 3H-thymidine uptake). The ED50 is < 10.0 ng/ml.
Endotoxin Level	< 0.1 ng/ug of BTC
