Storage Conditions	Lyophilized product is stable for at least 2 years at 2-4C. After reconstitution, store in working aliquots below -20C. Inclusion of a carrier protein (RIA grade BSA) is recommended where possible. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Description	Biotinylated human insulin-like Growth Factor-I (biotinyl-IGF-I) is made by reacting human IGF-I with Sulfo-NHS-Biotin reagent to label the primary amines of the IGF-I molecule. A mixture of biotinylated forms are produced, the major species being di-biotinyl-IGF-I. Biotinyl IGF-I has been prepared with a spacer to minimize steric hindrance during subsequent avidin binding.
Formulation	Lyophilized white powder, dried from Acetonitrile / 0.1% TFA under dry nitrogen at a slight vacuum (ca.25 kPa)
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Dissolve in 10 mM HCl at a concentration of at least 0.1 mg/ml.
Biological Activity	Western ligand blot to bovine IGFBP-2
