Biological Activity	The ED50, calculated by the dose-dependant proliferation of mouse BALB/c 3T3 cells (measured by 3H-thymidine uptake) is < 0.1 ng/ml corresponding to a specific activity of 1 x 107 Units/mg.
Description	Recombinant Human Epidermal Growth Factor produced in Pichia Pastoris is a single, glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 51 amino acids.
Endotoxin Level	<0.1 ng/ug of protein.
Formulation	Sterile filtered and then lyophilized. Each lyophilized mg contains contains 0.15 M NaCl + 0.025M sodium bicarbonate, pH 7.5.

Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening . First add sterile water to the vial to fully solubilize the protein to a concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. After complete solubilization of the protein, it can be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Storage and Stability	Lyophilized protein is stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, but it is recommended to store the lyophilized product desiccated at -20C to -80C. Upon reconstitution, protein should be stored at 2-4C for one week and for future use at -20C to -80C. Add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer for long term storage. Please note that the addition of any carrier protein into this product may produce unwanted endotoxin. This depends upon the particular application employed. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles .
