Description	Recombinant human soluble VEGFR1 domain D1-4 is produced as a non-chimeric protein in monomeric form. The soluble receptor protein contains only the first 4 extracellular domains, which contain all the information necessary for binding of VEGF. The receptor monomers contain 457 amino acid residues.
Formulation	Lyophilized without additives
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Soluble in water and most aqueous buffers. Add sterile distilled water to the vial to fully solubilize the protein to a concentration of 100 ng/ml.
Specificity	1 x 105 units/mg
Biological Activity	Determined by its ability to abolish the binding of iodinated VEGF to solid surfaces or cell surfaces, and in Far-Western and cross-linking experiments with iodinated VEGF. The usable range is 1-25 ng/ml.
Endotoxin Level	< 0.1 ng/ug of VEGFR1
