Storage Conditions	Store lyophilized protein at -20C and reconstituted protein in working aliquots at -20C with a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer for long term storage. Please note that the addition of any carrier protein into this product may produce unwanted endotoxin. This depends upon the particular application employed. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles .

Description	Recombinant human G-CSF is a glycoprotein containing 174 amino acid residues and a 15 amino acid Histidine tag for a total length of 189 amino acids. It has a predicted MW = 20.6 kDa, but as a result of glycosylation, migrates with an apparent MW = 23 kDa in SDS-PAGE.
Formulation	Lyophilized from a 0.2 um sterile filtered solution in PBS, pH 7.2
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening . Add sterile distilled water to the vial to fully solubilize the protein to a concentration not less than 100 ug/ml.
Specificity	1.00 x 106 U/mg
Biological Activity	Bioactivity is assayed by measuring the dose dependent effect of human G-CSF on proliferation of mouse NFS-60 cells. The ED50 is 1.06 ng/ml according to this assay.
Endotoxin Level	< 0.005 ng/ug of G-CSF
