Storage Conditions	Lyophilized samples are stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, but it is recommended to store them desiccated at -20C to -80C. Upon reconstitution, protein should be stored at 2-4C for one week and for future use at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles .

Description	Recombinant Human IFN-Beta 1a is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 166 amino acids.
Formulation	Lyophilized from a sterile filtered solution containing 91 mg Human Albumin + 620 mg mannitol, + 9 mg Sodium Acetate.
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening . First add sterile water to the vial to fully solubilize the protein to a concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. After complete solubilization of the protein, it can be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Specificity	2.70 x 108 units/mg
Biological Activity	The specific activity as determined in a viral resistance assay (human "Wish" cell line and VSV virus or the monkey VERO cell line with EMCV virus) was found to be 2.70 x 108 units/mg.
Endotoxin Level	< 0.1 ng/ug (1 EU/ug) of the protein.
