Storage Conditions	Store lyophilized protein at -20C to -80C. Reconstituted protein is stable for 1 week at 2-4C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C with a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer. Please note that the addition of any carrier protein into this product may produce unwanted endotoxin. This depends upon the particular application employed. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description	Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 beta (MIP-3beta), also called CCL19, is a chemokine that is expressed in the thymus, lymph nodes and activated bone marrow stromal cells. MIP-3beta signals through the G protein-coupled receptor, CCR7, to regulate normal lymphocyte recirculation and homing of T and B cells to the lymph nodes. Human MIP-3beta shows activity on mouse cells. Recombinant human MIP-3beta is a non-glycosylated protein containing 77 amino acids.
Formulation	Lyophilized from a sterile filtered solution with no additives.
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Add sterile water to the vial to fully solubilize the protein to a concentration of 100 ug/ml. After complete solubilization of the protein, it can be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity	Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The biological activity is determined by its ability to chemoattract human T-cells, and is detectable starting at a concentration of 5 ng/ml.
Endotoxin Level	<=1 EU/ug of MIP3-beta
