Description	TNF-a is a potent multifunctional cytokine produced mainly by activated T and B lymphocytes. The protein has been shown to have a specific potent cytotoxic activity on tumor cells and a variety of other target cells as well as being a mediator of inflammation and immune function. Recombinant Human TNF-a His is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 171 amino acids (fragment 35-205) with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag. The TNF-a His is purified by standard chromatographic techniques.
Formulation	TNF-a His is supplied in 20 mM BTP + 50 mM NaCl + 50% glycerol.
