Storage Conditions	This lyophilized preparation is stable at 2-4C, but should be kept desiccated at -20C for long term storage. Upon reconstitution, the preparation is stable for up to one week at 2-4C. For maximal stability, apportion the reconstituted preparation into working aliquots and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Description	GMF-beta, a brain-specific protein that belongs to the actin-binding proteins (ADF) structural family. GMF-beta appears to play a role in the differentiation, maintenance, and regeneration of the nervous system. It also supports the progression of certain autoimmune diseases, possibly through its ability to induce the production and secretion of various pro-inflammatory cytokines.
Formulation	Lyophilized from a sterile filtered solution of 20 mM PBS, pH 7.4 + 130 mM NaCl.
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Add sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.
Biological Activity	Data Not Available.
Endotoxin Level	Less than 1EU/ug of rHuGMF-beta as determined by LAL method.
