Description	LONGEGF is a recombinant analog of human epidermal growth factor (EGF) developed as a supplement for use in therapeutic cell culture applications as a like-for-like replacement for native EGF or recombinant human EGF (hEGF). It comprises the human EGF amino acid sequence plus a 53 amino acid N-terminal extension peptide.
Formulation	Lyophilized from 10 mM hydrochloric acid. Manufactured without the use of animal- or human-derived materials.
Biological Activity	The ED50 as determined by the stimulation of mouse 3T3 cell growth is <=20.0 ng/ml.
