Storage Conditions	Store lyophilized protein at -20C to -80C. Reconstituted protein is stable for 1 week at 2-4C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C with a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer. Please note that the addition of any carrier protein into this product may produce unwanted endotoxin. This depends upon the particular application employed. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description	Recombinant mouse CD40 Ligand is a non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 149 amino acids.
Formulation	Lyophilized from a sterile filtered solution containing 10 mM sodium phosphate, pH 7.5
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening. First add sterile water to the vial to fully solubilize the protein to a concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. After complete solubilization of the protein, it can be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity	Determined by its ability to induce MIP-1 alpha and TNF-alpha from mouse splenocytes. The ED50 is 0.1 ug/ml.
Endotoxin Level	< 0.1 ng/ug of CD40LG
