Description	The recombinant RFP was expressed and purified from transformed, E. coli, using a method that ensures high purity and maximal RFP fluorescence. Endotoxin was removed, so the protein is suitable for, in vivo, injection or cell culture applications. The protein is a monomer containing a N-terminus 6x His-Tag with Ex./Em. = 557/585 nm, extinction coefficient 34380.
Formulation	Freeze dried
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening . Add sterile distilled water to the vial to fully solubilize the protein to a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml.
Endotoxin Level	< 0.1 ng/ug of RFP
