ED50 for this effect is 1–3ng/ml.Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in itsparticular application. Other applications have not been tested but use insuch assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Storage Conditions	The lyophilized product, thoughstable for 3 weeks at room temperature, is best stored at -20°C. Afterreconstitution, short term (up to 1 week) store at 2–8oC. Long term, add 0.1%HSA or BSA, aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

The sequence of the first fiveN-terminal amino acids was determined to be Arg-Glu-Arg-Gly-Pro. Containsless than 1% dimers and aggregates.

Antigen Description	TRAIL showshomology to other members of the tumor necrosis factor superfamily. It iscomposed of 281 amino acids and has characteristics of a type IItransmembrane protein (i.e. no leader sequence and an internal transmembranedomain). The N-terminal cytoplasmic domain is not conserved across familymembers, however, the C-terminal extracellular domain is conserved and can beproteolytically cleaved from the cell surface. TRAIL forms a homotrimer thatbinds three receptor molecules.
