Manufacturer - Applications	Biological activity was determined by its ability tochemoattract human peripheral blood neutrophils using a concentration of25.0-150.0ng/ml. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titerfor use in its particular application. Other applications have not beentested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Storage Conditions	The lyophilized product is stable for a few weeks at roomtemperature but is best stored at –20°C. After reconstitution, aliquot andstore at –20°C.

It is also synthesized byendothelial cells, which store IL-8 in their storage vesicles, theWeibel-Palade bodies. In humans, the interleukin-8 protein is encoded by theIL8 gene.
