Protein Crystallization Strategies for Structural Genomics (SGB-1)

In recent years, research advances have enabled development for new methods and tools to overcome the bottleneck of protein crystallization. New avenues of research are now accessible to experimentation thanks to sophisticated apparatuses as well as the development of new techniques to monitor and control the process of crystallization.

However, these techniques are not useful unless they are miniaturized, automated, and finally adapted to cope with the vast numbers of "leads" resulting from high-throughput screening procedures. Such efforts are being optimized by recent technical advances, which is the major focus of this book.
