Description	beta-galactosidase is coded by a gene ( lac z ) in the lac operon of, Escherichia coli . It is a metalloenzyme that splits lactose into glucose and galactose. It hydrolyzes terminal, non-reducing beta-D-galactose residues in beta-D-galactosides. GenScript, Rabbit Anti-beta-Galactosidase Polyclonal Antibody, may be used as a primary antibody for the detection and purification of recombinant fusion proteins, which expressed by a vector containing beta-galactosidase. GenScript Rabbit Anti-beta-Galactosidase Polyclonal Antibody is highly purified from rabbit antiserum by protein G chromatography and is supplied as a 100 ul aliquot at a concentration of 10 mg/ml in PBS, pH7.4, containing 0.02% sodium azide.
