Description	FGF-17 is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members are involved in a variety of biological processes including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. FGF-17 is more selective in regulating the properties of the dorsal but not ventral frontal cortex. The deduced 216-amino acid human FGF-17 protein is 98.6% identical to the mouse and rat FGF-17 proteins. GenScript FGF-17 Antibody (2C4G6), mAb, Mouse, is produced from the hybridoma resulting from fusion of Sp2/0 myeloma and lymphocytes obtained from mouse immunized with purified human recombinant FGF-17 protein (Swiss-Prot O60258).
